Job Title: Tax Accountant

Lennox International, a leading provider of energy-efficient climate-control solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and determine federal, state, and local taxes
  • Analyze information to prepare Excel sheets with tax calculations
  • Prepare journal entries for tax cancellations and prepare tax filings
  • Work with the payroll team to determine and solve discrepancies related to withhold taxes
  • Develop tax procedures and assist with accounting for taxes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of related experience
  • Skilled specialist with proficient functional knowledge and analytical skills pertinent to tax calculation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
