In this role, you will collaborate closely with a team of dedicated engineers and scientists to research, design, and develop user interfaces for a diverse range of features within our internal tool. You will also work closely with other specialists to spec out and develop APIs necessary for new features or to extend/optimize existing functionalities.
Together, we'll enable users across Zillow to iterate, test, and learn about improvements shipped to production, driving a culture of experimentation and powering innovation in our Housing Super-App.
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position, allowing you to work from a physical location of your choice, with a preference for Mexico City due to occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance, and location.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our internal tool
- Collaborate with applied scientists, engineers, product managers, and end users to develop APIs and features
- Influence and educate others on experimentation concepts and methods
- Work closely with the team to research, design, and develop user interfaces for a diverse range of features
- Proficiency with front-end technologies and frameworks (experience in React is highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of modern UX principles and design thinking; UX design tools (Figma, etc.) experience is a plus
- Ability to influence, collaborate with, and educate others on methods and requirements in experimentation concepts
- Experience collaborating with applied scientists, engineers, product managers, and end users
