Airswift is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to provide project support to an Energy Company in Mexico City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the facilities engineering leader to manage the owners' engineering and review the results of the FEED study.
- Develop and prepare the scope of work for the call for tenders (ITT) documents for the EPC scope.
- Evaluate EPC tenders and facilitate the award of contracts.
- Provide technical expertise for design and engineering in water treatment.
- Ensure that engineering is carried out in accordance with standards and functional specifications.
- Support project teams to ensure maturity and deliverables through project approval.
- Manage interphase coordination for engineering work.
- Conduct quality control on cost estimates and schedule information provided by engineering contractors.
- Perform technical assurance of the work carried out by contractors.
- Provide technical information and evaluation of tenders and contracts as required.
- Support internal and external project review activities.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in plant/construction engineering, especially in process engineering/design and optimization within upstream projects.
- Technical knowledge of onshore processing equipment, particularly water treatment and processing.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant local regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with facilities software.
- Experience with plant procurement processes.
- Strong technical understanding of development and construction activities, HSE, field operations, and commercial aspects.
- Engineering and project management experience.
- Experience in engineering and construction management.
- Ability to work primarily from our offices in Mexico City, with occasional travel to operating sites and other locations.
- Advanced English language proficiency.
