We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Architect to join our team at GlobalLogic. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, design, and development of our cloud native, multitenant SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the architecture and lead the design and implementation of our highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Release Delivery, Customer Support and other groups towards developing the most optimal solutions and troubleshooting issues.
- Practice modern agile software development practices that deliver high quality code: continuous integration, test, deployment practices and tool sets.
- Validate technical designs against business requirements and architecture.
- Do code reviews and approval of pull requests in Git.
- Communicate with other teams/leads.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field, and 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with deep dive analytical skills.
- Proficient with Java Cloud Development with Scala as a major plus.
- Proficiency with relational data stores.
- Passion for building resilient backend platforms.
- Eager to learn, while exhibiting a positive attitude.
- Advanced English level.
- Experience in Kafka.
- Understanding of Akka.
- Understanding of cryptography, security, and data privacy.
- Experience building distributed highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions.
- Experience developing for Continuous Deployment on AWS, GCP or similar.
- Knowledge of Apple's APNS, Google's FCM and Twilio.
