Job Overview
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Product Development Engineer - Thermal Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting New Product Development and product sustaining tasks for our Global Rack & Edge Thermal products.
- • You will understand the products, suggesting ideas and improvements back to your team.
- • Assist with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings, and sales literature.
- • Create/modify mechanical drawings/parts in CAD systems, such as CREO.
- • Assist with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues.
- • Perform lab testing of products.
- • Work closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- • A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- • 1-3 years of engineering product development or support experience.
- • Sheetmetal design experience.
- • Basic working knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety, and test-methods.
- • Ability to follow, create, and organize testing and instructional procedures.
- • Data-entry systems familiarity & BOM Creation Experience.
- • Basic mechanical CAD tools experience (MBD and CREO preferred).
- • Basic troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.
- • Good planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- • Ability to multitask and operate in cross-functional Global Development Teams.
- • Fluency in English.
- • Basic electrical experience is a plus.
