Job Summary:
As a Global Service Agent at FedEx, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and clearance of international shipments. This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including sales, customs, and ramp operations, to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain control of heavy export cargo
Provide support to sales, customs, and ramp operations
Identify systemic and recurring service issues and elevate them to the appropriate person for resolution
Monitor shipments, research transit delays, and initiate actions to complete delivery
Advise customers on documents required and correct completion of paperwork
Act as a liaison between sales, customer, brokers, shippers/recipients, origin station/ramp, regulatory agencies, FedEx companies, and others to ensure delivery of shipments
Visit designated accounts to improve customer satisfaction and work in conjunction with sales to maintain and generate additional revenue
Audit assigned international paperwork for correct completion
Assist customers with obtaining estimates of duties and taxes
Assist customers in the resolution of billing issues and in initiating requests for credits/refunds
Advise customers on features of service for all FedEx express international services and assist with use of tools available through FedEx.com
Coordinate activities to ensure customer problems are resolved and paperwork required for shipments is completed

Requirements:
High School Degree/Equivalent
Proficiency in English (450 TOEIC points)
Three (3) years work experience providing direct customer service related to international transportation, freight forwarding, dangerous goods or brokerage service
Knowledge of mainframe, PC systems, and web-based applications and PC software
Excellent human relations and communication skills
Good analytical and prioritizing skills
Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrent training
Flexibility to work different shifts required
Experience working in a fast-paced environment preferred
Fluent in English preferred
