Etsy is committed to becoming an app-first company, and we're seeking a Senior Mobile Product Designer to join our team. As a founding member of our mobile design practice, you'll collaborate with cross-functional product partners to improve the entire experience.

In this role, you'll define and design new experiences, improve existing ones, and work closely with engineering, research, analytics, marketing, and product management teams.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Product Design Director, with a competitive benefits package and equity opportunities.

We're looking for candidates based in Mexico, with a preference for those living within commuting distance of our Etsy Mexico office. You'll have the option to work office-based, flex, or remotely.

About the Team

Our product designers work in a squad alongside a product manager, engineers, a researcher, and a data analyst. Together, they drive their own part of the Etsy customer experience by delivering solutions to problems and getting feedback directly from customers.

Responsibilities
  • Run discovery phases and help define product requirements
  • Test prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
  • Launch experiments and evaluate how they perform and how to iterate
  • Share your work with peers and leadership, asynchronously and in-person
  • Participate in weekly design critiques, workshops, all hands, and squad meetings
  • Think and write about your process and document your decisions

  • Translation of quantitative & qualitative insights into design decisions
