Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Prodensa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning and purchasing, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and scheduling of raw materials for production.
• Create work orders, review messages, expedite and follow up production priorities and regular schedules.
• Organize and track shipments for dispatch from the supply base to ensure on-time delivery at the plant.
• Maintain an optimum level of finished product inventory, ensuring the level of service required by the client.
• Coordinate and supervise the purchasing, shipping, storage, and planning areas.
• Develop instructions for the work processes of Production Control; ensure that Schedulers are trained on all work processes.
• Ensure Customer's expectations are clearly communicated and are being met.
• Communicate material supply issues proactively with all required business functions. Assess problem areas and provide root cause analysis, technical support, and direction to sites to resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience in Supply Chain Planning and Purchasing.
• Bilingual Spanish-English.
• Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve results.
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
