About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at IBM Consulting. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping our clients drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your primary focus will be on setting up and managing Snowflake data warehouses, ensuring high performance and scalability. You will also be responsible for analyzing current support and business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Snowflake data pipelines using Snowpipe and SnowSQL
  • Collaborate with business analysts and users to resolve requirement issues and document test procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with Snowflake development, including Snowpipe and SnowSQL
  • Experience with SQL and/or no-SQL databases
  • Experience with DBA activities, including performance tuning and cluster design
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS tools, such as DBT and Kinesis, is a plus.
