Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in Mexico. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and applying engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to design the conceptual phase of large power projects. This will involve formulating technical specifications and preparing interface points with construction partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development
    • Familiar with computer operation and able to use electrical department design software tools.
    • Knowledge and application of current version of the NOM-001-SEDE.
    • Familiar with all applicable standards (ANSI, IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC, CFE, etc).
  • Technical Calculations
    • Able to perform voltage drop calculations and grounding calculations.
    • Able to calculate and select cable tray systems.
    • Able to determine facility and motor control center loading.
    • Able to perform lightning calculations.
  • Project Management
    • Ability to read and comprehend construction documents and create technical reports, proposals, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • +5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering projects in OGC projects.
  • English Proficient C2.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
