SUMMARY
This is a high-level leadership position that requires exceptional integrity, enthusiasm, and efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technicians, providing guidance and coaching to ensure they meet operational metrics and project timelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, interview, and coach Quality Engineers and Technicians.
- Maintain team member turnover rates; identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement training curriculum; mentor staff to deliver excellence.
Performance Management:
- Establish clear goals and objectives; track individual and team results.
- Solicit feedback from stakeholders; provide coaching and counseling.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational metrics and organizational goals.
Communication:
- Provide a communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information.
- Adapt communication style to suit individual team members.
Techncial Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain QA plans; ensure timely global new product introductions.
- Support quoting activities; evaluate inspection processes.
- Review and maintain documentation files; develop systems for document storage and access.
