The Accounting Assistant will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, providing support for key functions and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and closing activities.
  • Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Maintain and update accounting databases and financial records.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate deductions and benefits.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings, including VAT (IVA) and other related reports.
  • Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Help with budget preparation and forecasts.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Monitor and update fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with invoice processing and verifying payment information.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Previous experience in accounting role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office products such as Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and updating in commercial matters.
  • Knowledge of international accounting principles (IFRS).
  • Knowledge of QAD software.
