Key Responsibilities- Implement HSE Policies: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Incident Investigations: Investigate and analyze incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Perform Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination on HSE matters.
- Develop HSE Systems: Assist in the development and implementation of systems and standards that facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members in understanding and implementing HSE procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, occupational health, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, including direct experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and conducting audits.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and the ability to interpret and apply these regulations effectively.
- Certifications: Possession of a nationally recognized certification, such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CEP, or PEC.
Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
