About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialist to join our team at Kbr. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement HSE Policies: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Incident Investigations: Investigate and analyze incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Perform Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination on HSE matters.
  • Develop HSE Systems: Assist in the development and implementation of systems and standards that facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members in understanding and implementing HSE procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, occupational health, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, including direct experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and conducting audits.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and the ability to interpret and apply these regulations effectively.
  • Certifications: Possession of a nationally recognized certification, such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CEP, or PEC.
Clearance:

Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
