Key Responsibilities- Design and develop manufacturing processes for harnesses, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Implement and maintain a safe work environment, promoting a culture of accident prevention and investigation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement Lean Manufacturing principles and improve production processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, and DFAM.
- Contribute to the advancement of the organization in the JCMSS and support sharing of best practices.
- Lead and update databases to optimize production routes, times, and resource allocation.
- Coach and mentor Manufacturing Technicians to improve skills and knowledge.
- Industrial, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in harness manufacturing processes.
- 3+ years of experience with cable and wire machines and tools.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Strong knowledge of elements of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning, and layout.
- Project management experience and proven record of successful change management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- HVAC industries experience.
- Project Management Certification.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
