About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Agileengine. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing functional requirements, building efficient back-end features in Python, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement functional requirements to meet business needs
- Develop and maintain efficient back-end features in Python, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into the code
- Coach junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements to existing systems
- Work with the data analytics team to produce high-quality code and communicate with engineering and data analytics management
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Significant practical experience with Python (ideally 5+ years)
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Django, REST API, SQL, and containerization (kubernetes/Docker)
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- AWS experience
- ETL development experience with Airflow
- Jupyter Notebooks
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework
