We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Oerlikon Group. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial statements, as well as providing guidance and support to our accounting, fiscal, and reporting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and corporate accounting standards.
- Develop and analyze key financial indicators to drive business decisions and achieve company goals.
- Ensure proper calculation of direct and indirect taxes, including compliance with all fiscal regulations and requirements.
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and withholding tax.
- Control and maintain financial areas, including accounting, inventory, fixed assets, fiscal, and taxes.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal control systems and financial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Administration.
- Post-graduation in Taxes preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Mexican Taxes area.
- Action-oriented leader with a strong track record of performance in a large, multi-site, international environment.
- Fluency in English required.
- Availability for national trips.
- Experience working with SAP and advanced MS Excel required.
