About the Role

This is a remote consulting position for a duration of 6-12 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop novel algorithms and models to solve complex problems at the intersection of audio, acoustics, and data science.
  • Improve, verify, and debug audio features.
  • Contribute to developing a codebase with well-tested, production-ready code.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a Master's, PhD, or advanced training in applied mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms.
  • 3+ years of experience with aspects of acoustics, sound, and audio signals.
  • Experience applying deep learning to audio signal processing.
  • Experience with noise and echo suppression.
  • Experience with speech enhancement.
  • Familiarity with audio source separation.
  • Experience with Short Term Fourier Transforms applications.
  • Experience with the implementation of Auto-Filtering and Wiener Filtering.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Highly competent in algorithms and programming; strong coding skills in C/C++ or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
