Your Role in Connecting the World:

Under general supervision, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of tasks related to the procurement of critical items, necessitating extensive or specialized expertise. Collaborating with the site Operations team, you will ensure that sourcing strategies align with site needs. You will develop both current and future supply sources to support the overarching supply chain strategy. Additionally, you will negotiate contracts where errors in judgment could result in significant financial implications. You may also provide leadership and training to junior buyers.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or a Professional Purchasing Qualification.
  • Preferred certification in procurement (such as C.P.M. or CPIM).
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant sourcing experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the product line related to Sourcing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all product lines and associated manufacturing processes within your area of responsibility.
  • Experience in procuring technical commodities that require close collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong familiarity with cost and price analysis techniques.

We Would Be Excited If You Have:

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
