**Clinical Terminology Specialist**

**About the Role**

We are looking for a contract Clinical Terminology Specialist to help standardize data from various health systems. The successful candidate will identify, create, or validate mappings between medical terms from different healthcare systems to standardized terminologies. This role will be based remotely from Mexico and will work closely with our team in the United States.

**Key Responsibilities**:

Identify and create or validate mappings between medical terms from various healthcare systems to standardized terminologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver constant improvement in data pipeline

Participate in efforts to enhance data management process as needed

Perform data checks and edits to ensure quality

Comprehend guidelines to maintain effective data standards

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Fluency in English is mandatory

**Requirements**:

40 hours/week, M-F

One of the following: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - AAPC, Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) - AHIMA, Certified Coding Associate (CCA) - AHIMA, Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist - Physician (CCS-P)
