About the Role
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst FP&A to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for our studios, working closely with business finance counterparts to gather inputs and understand drivers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for Domestic Film Rentals, NTH, and Prints
- Provide weekly and monthly submissions to Corporate Finance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile financial data between FLASH and SAP systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and submit Domestic JEs into SAP, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Develop and maintain financial reports, including NTH forecast reports and Domestic FLASH reports
- Manage ad-hoc analysis and financial data requests, generating insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with business partners to understand forecast drivers and present prepared forecast and analysis data
- Support the development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate forecasting and analysis
- Drive process simplification initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years' experience in forecasting and analysis, preferably in a finance or accounting role
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts
- Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis techniques, with experience in financial modeling
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to frame issues and present optimal solutions
- Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners
- Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines
- Motivated by challenging, high-energy environments
- Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a strong academic record
