Micron Technology, a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions, is seeking an experienced Memory CAD Design Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in mixed-signal custom IC design flows, including CMOS circuit design, layout, and verification. Experience with EDA software, such as Cadence, and knowledge of memory design are highly desirable.

As a key member of the Engineering Automation organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting CAD tools, flows, and collateral for DRAM design teams at the Guadalajara DEG Design Center. This includes performing day-to-day support of CAD tools and flows, collaborating with DRAM design, layout, and verification methodology teams, and driving close collaboration with EDA vendors to propose and co-develop capabilities.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards for senior-level CAD engineers in the Guadalajara area. Responsibilities:

  • Support CAD tools, flows, and collateral for DRAM design teams
  • Collaborate with DRAM design, layout, and verification methodology teams
  • Drive close collaboration with EDA vendors to propose and co-develop capabilities
  • Perform day-to-day support of CAD tools and flows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's/PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • 10-15+ years of direct CAD or design experience in mixed-signal custom IC design flows
  • Experience working in highly technical IC design or CAD teams distributed worldwide
  • Familiarity with memory design (DDR3/4/5, LP3/4/5, HBM, NAND)
  • Knowledge of CMOS circuit design, layout, and verification, and in-depth experience supporting these areas
