Overview
Ortho Clinical Diagnostics is a world-leading in vitro diagnostics company with award-winning expertise in immunoassay and molecular testing, clinical chemistry, and transfusion medicine.
We are seeking a highly experienced Government Sales Manager to join our team in Mexico. This individual will be responsible for achieving business liaisons with Integrators based on QuidelOrtho principles of ethics and compliance.
About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales and business development for government institutions.
- They should have experience in the IVD industry and effective communication and presentations skills.
- A university degree in Chemistry or a related field is required, along with fluency in English.
- Microsoft Office skills at an advanced level are also essential.
- This role requires the ability to travel at least one week per month.
Salary and Benefits
Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $180,000 (dependent on experience) plus benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and identify critical managerial, decision-making influencing, and operational functions within Integrator organizations.
- Makes plans and identifies areas of operational opportunity supported by the Sales force.
- Participates in the annual sales operation plans, identifying government business where there are contract renewals or tenders that require participation.
- Analyzes, develops, and implements action plans in conjunction with the Marketing team for underdeveloped or non-compliant accounts.
- Promotes meetings within Integrator structures and work teams to increase knowledge and values of QuidelOrtho products and services.
- Participates in Regional Sales Meetings to present government sales schemes supporting understanding of the government market in Mexico.
Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and business development for government institutions.
- Experience in the IVD industry.
- Effective communication and presentations skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
