About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels, managing procurement processes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Your expertise in SAP and experience with other inventory management software or systems will be valuable assets in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Planning and Management: Develop and implement inventory plans to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Procurement and Supplier Management: Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • SAP Utilization: Utilize SAP to track inventory, manage purchase orders, and generate reports on stock levels and procurement activities.
  • Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and adjust inventory levels accordingly.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a planner buyer or inventory management role, with a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in SAP and experience with other inventory management software or systems.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
