Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Axa Investment Managers. As a key member of our US Financial Controlling team, you will collaborate with senior leaders to develop financial strategies and drive analytics to inform business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of core financial planning and analysis, including monthly KPI reporting and variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and dashboards.
- Create monthly management reporting, analyzing current and past trends in financial results and KPIs across all areas of revenues and costs.
- Ensure the integration of budgeting and planning data with the general ledger for monthly reporting of actuals against budget/forecast, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variances.
- Reconcile FP&A guided processes to books and provide accounting guidance on any discrepancies.
- Assist with strategic and business plans, budget/forecast formation, and presentations to senior leaders.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and projects as requested by senior financial leaders.
Requirements
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical ability, with the ability to synthesize data, error check, and reconcile own work.
- Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
