We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper-Public Area Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public restrooms, showers, and other areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies as needed.
- Dust and polish surfaces, including furniture and fixtures, to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to ensure prompt resolution.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
