About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Analyst to join our team at Reckitt. As a Demand Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate demand forecasts, ensuring the proper forecast models are being used, and collaborating closely with the demand planning teams.

You will have the tools to gain insights from the commercial market, such as consumption sales at our retailers, promotional activity, and historic trends that will aid in understanding the impact on demand. You will also have the autonomy to challenge when necessary and provide clear communication between our demand planning teams, sales, as well as supply and manufacturing teams.

Your Responsibilities
  • Receive requirements for setting up and maintaining product skus within the forecasting tool
  • Prepare statistical forecasts across the assigned portfolios in an effort to help maintain a strong baseline forecast
  • Use internal and external intelligence to make predictions of demand for a tactical (1-6 months) and strategic forecast (7-24 rolling months)
  • Establish a weekly process of using exception-based planning reports to adjust forecasts as necessary, holding to the thresholds of RB's Key Performance Indicators
  • Hold bi-weekly consensus meetings with respective Demand Planner/Jr Demand Planner to address any changes to the statistical models
  • Use analytical, marketing, and sales data of an item/customer/brand to effectively estimate future product demands
  • Generate forecast solutions for business partners and help train Demand Planning end users on the system and logic
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance
The Experience We're Looking For

We are looking for a candidate with a Higher Education Degree in a related field, availability to work in a hybrid regimen in CDMX, advanced English, and a deep understanding of statistical algorithms. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a demand planning/forecasting role, analytical skills, strong mathematical and statistical knowledge, and the capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
