Senior Geoscientist

In the capacity of a Geologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading the geophysical and geological evaluations for Block 30 in the Southeast Basin.
• Coordinating geological work across various Business Units and service centers.
• Identifying and assessing drilling prospects while ensuring compliance with exploration guidelines.
• Conducting reservoir channel analyses and developing structural concepts.
• Supporting operational teams in well planning and data acquisition strategies.
• Collaborating with partners in joint ventures.
• Presenting findings at internal meetings and industry conferences.
• Actively contributing to exploration growth and portfolio expansion.
• Adhering to corporate HSEQ and data management standards.
• Working closely with the regional exploration team.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Technical Discipline.
• A Master of Science in Geology or Geophysics.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Over 10 years of industry experience, including project management.
• Specialized technical knowledge in relevant software and industry standards.
• Experience in operational projects and international joint ventures.
• Strong understanding of petroleum geoscience, structural geology, and sedimentology.
• Advanced skills in software tools such as Petrel, ArcGIS, and GeoX.
• Extensive experience in volumetric calculations and risk assessments.
• Ability to coordinate with junior team members and regional teams.
• Proven capability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Competence in advancing prospects through internal quality assurance processes.
