About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial operations, including general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting, data management, and process automation.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
