Your Role

You will be responsible for providing essential data support to the management team and facilitating the resolution of customer quality-related challenges. You will have the authority to uphold and enhance the integrity and effectiveness of the quality management processes.

Your Responsibilities

You will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing quality performance metrics, including Quality Notifications, Scrap rates, Non-conforming materials, and Sorting processes. Additionally, you will organize and supervise the compilation of summary data for management and customer reporting. You will play a key role in promoting a Zero-Defect culture within the department.

You will lead and respond to customer concerns by implementing appropriate containment and corrective actions, ensuring timely and professional communication with customers. Furthermore, you will manage 8D reports effectively.

Qualifications

  • Ability to plan, execute, analyze, and report on evaluations of product/process changes and production issues using relevant statistical tools.
  • Collaborate with Advanced Quality Planning Engineers, Design Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers on the qualification, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Safe-Launch of both new and existing products, while participating in and supporting the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
  • Familiarity with Molding and Assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or training in high-speed automated manufacturing environments.
  • Understanding of certification standards and auditing processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP and quality software tools (e.g., Minitab).
