About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our NielsenIQ Technology team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success by defining and aligning user stories, ensuring code quality, and leading technical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Define and align user stories to ensure they are clear, concise, and actionable for the development team.
  2. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality and adherence to best practices.
  3. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both testing and production environments.
  4. Innovation and Research: Develop proof-of-concepts and research new tools and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
  5. Scrum Leadership: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as refinement and planning to ensure effective collaboration and prioritization.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of Full Stack Engineering experience preferred
  2. Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or equivalent
  3. English is required (Being able to have a conversation with non-Spanish speakers and global teams is necessary)
  4. Experience providing technical support or being part of implementation team
  5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills while being highly detail oriented
  6. Strong customer service orientation
  7. Great written and verbal client communication skills
  8. Teamworking and ability to adapt to change
Nice to Haves
  1. Strong Java, Spring Boot, and SQL experience
  2. Experience in Angular, Git
  3. Experience in Docker, Jenkins
  4. Experience in Azure
  5. Experience with Scrum
  6. Experience with supporting an analytic product in a SaaS environment
  7. Familiar with Microservices Architecture
