Prototype Shipper and Logistics Specialist

Aptiv is seeking a skilled Prototype Shipper and Logistics Specialist to play a key role in our global operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate material and mixed production requirements to meet production schedules, manage all aspects of prototype inventory, and ensure seamless importation and exportation of materials and components.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate material and mixed production requirements to meet production schedules
  2. Manage all aspects of prototype inventory
  3. Importation of material/components
  4. Exportation of material/components
  5. Hot sheets formats to bring material from LIDC to MX
  6. Shipper and packaging coordination to export material/finished goods
  7. Coordinate 931 material transfer from DA31 to DA88
  8. PTA system management, record and reporting
  9. Warehouse material movement

Your Background

  1. Career in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or related career
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry
  3. SAP experience (plus)
  4. Knowledge and advanced management of Microsoft Office
  5. Business fluent English is a plus
  6. Strong communication and organization skills
  7. Ability to work in a team environment
  8. Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer-focused working style
  9. Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
  10. Ability to work with multiple competencies
  11. Attention to details to avoid errors
  12. Ability to perform Multitasking positions
