**Job Summary**
As an Assistant Production Supervisor, you'll oversee production processes and assist in establishing production priorities for products, ensuring effective operations and cost factors. You'll work closely with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, minimize excessive material on the production floor, and coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with management to establish production and quality control standards, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Assist in the coordination of production activities, including procurement, maintenance, and quality control, to optimize production and resource utilization.
- Review and discuss production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in minimizing scrap and materials request order (MRO) usage, ensuring a clean and organized production environment.
- Monitor production metrics and complete monthly reports, seeking continuous improvement in lowering line and plant defects per million (DPM).
- Ensure line employees understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, and maintain proper stocking and availability of operation supplies and equipment.
- Assist in monitoring the SPC system to identify and address repetitive problems, and compile, store, and retrieve production data.

**Knowledge Requirements**
- Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry trends.
- Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to support business goals and objectives, with the ability to devise and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
- Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes, as well as global customs regimes.
- Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and managing continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
- Strong and convincing communication skills.
**Education & Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Or a combination of education, experience, and/or training.
