International Shipping Consultant

As a Trade Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers' shipments comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
You will be responsible for auditing and analyzing clearance activities, researching and developing knowledge of country and international customs laws, regulations, and procedures, and developing programs to better address regulatory requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and analyze clearance activities for regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of country and international customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Develop programs to better address regulatory requirements and provide guidance to customers.
- Maintain and monitor duty tracking systems and customer profiles.
- Administrate resolution processes to minimize financial and legal exposure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required.
- Three (3) years of professional experience in international shipping.
- Strong knowledge of import and export control requirements.
- Knowledge of FedEx systems preferred.
- Strong human relations and written and verbal communication skills.
- Good planning and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
