We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our International Emerging Stores Payments team at Amazon. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our payments business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address emerging risks, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on risk-related matters, and develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes, and ensure that our risk management practices are aligned with best practices.
Our team is dedicated to supporting the growth and success of Amazon's payments business. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that values innovation, creativity, and teamwork.
Requirements- 6+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- English and Spanish proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
- Master's degree or equivalent.
