Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team. As a Senior Environmental Health and Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental agencies regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement company-wide environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable practices and reduce environmental impact.
- Design and implement systems for municipal and industrial water supply and wastewater treatment.
- Research and develop preventive programs to reduce environmental impact on VOCs, gases, and chemical control and waste.
- Design and lead a roadmap to net zero.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in environmental health and safety, with a focus on manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental regulatory requirements for air, water, soil, and waste.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to perform day-to-day administrative tasks.
