About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communication Manager to join our team at Ikano-Retail. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy to drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a local marketing plan to increase visitation, build loyalty, and expand market share in our Primary Market Area (PMA).
  • Support the store's positioning as a company that cares for People and the Planet and is a Good Neighbour.
  • Collaborate with HR to project the IKEA store as a Great Place to Work through Employer Branding activities.
  • Provide expertise and counsel to the Store Management Team to communicate effectively and inspire co-workers.
  • Secure effective internal communication and co-worker engagement, creating togetherness and enthusiasm in the store.
Requirements
  • Intimate knowledge of people's life at home and local market conditions to identify growth, positioning, and segmentation strategies.
  • Ability to create and manage the store's annual marketing plan and strategy, including corporate and internal communication.
  • Experience in managing local marketing budgets and securing alignment between internal and external communication activities.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure marketing metrics on PMA/store level and identify cost efficiencies.
  • Ability to lead the work to create, implement, and evaluate all local marketing activities in store and adjacent shopping centre.
