Welding Foreman

Job Overview:

As a Welding Foreman at McDermott, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of welding operations. This includes supervising a team of welders, inspecting work areas, and coordinating with other departments to ensure compliance with technical and quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the work of welders to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the HSE department to ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Provide training and guidance to welders on safety procedures and quality control measures.
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure that all welding equipment and tools are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• High School or Technical Career (can be validated with experience in the discipline).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience performing functions related to the position and the exercise of the discipline is required.
