We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Latin America. As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and sustaining the intricate systems for gathering, storing, and processing data essential for product insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain databases, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Create effective and efficient data models, leveraging knowledge of different data modeling techniques.
  • Develop ETL processes to move and transform data between systems, utilizing tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Apache Spark.
  • Work with big data technologies and frameworks like Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Kafka.
  • Write efficient scripts for data processing tasks, utilizing programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure data quality and governance.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and adopt new technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience in database management, programming, ETL processes, big data technologies, cloud platforms, and data warehousing.
  • English proficiency (100% oral and written).
