We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Risk and Compliance Transformation Portfolio Services team in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement long-term plans for the region in line with the Risk and Compliance Transformation strategy.
- Support the Risk and Compliance Transformation leadership in managing and leading change in the region through deployment of priority programmes.
- Coordinate country and regional transformation programmes, ensuring close working with delivery partners.
- Build change framework competency within the function and ensure global programmes have sufficient support from a regional perspective.
- Undertake workforce planning for regional resources, building multiple capabilities to support future business requirements.
- Collaborate with Risk and Compliance Transformation teams, sharing best practice and ensuring consistency of approach and delivery.
- Promote an open, connected, and dependable work culture within Risk and Compliance Transformation, aligned with HSBC Values.
- Develop and implement targeted strategies to identify, develop, and retain talent, supporting their transition to more accountable roles.
- Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes, and objectives.
- Good knowledge of the external environment, including regulatory, political, and competitor factors.
- Outstanding knowledge of Transformation projects, preferably on risk and compliance type of portfolios, functionally, operationally, and financially.
- Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior managers across the Group.
- Proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments.
- Strong analytical background and proven ability in analytical rigour, including contextualising data into business activities and conclusions.
- Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing large-scale, complex global/regional change initiatives.
- Competence at the highest level in having a Global Mindset, Customer Empathy, Decision Making ability, the desire to achieve excellence, collaboration, Commerciality, Impactful Communication, Leading self and others, tracking, reporting, and governance, stakeholder management, and consultancy.
