Role Summary

The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), an Inspired school, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Preschool Teaching Assistant to join our team. With over 1,800 students across three campuses, AIM is a leading institution in Mexico, renowned for its high academic standing and innovative approach to education.

As a Preschool Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the homeroom teacher in preparing courses, materials, and activities that cater to the needs of our international student body. Your primary focus will be on fostering high academic achievement and creating a welcoming environment that values diversity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the homeroom teacher in preparing courses, materials, and activities that align with the AIM curriculum and Inspired Education model.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and safety.
  • Participate in school activities and events that foster a sense of community and collaboration among students, teachers, and parents.
  • Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring that students have access to innovative resources and tools.
Requirements
  • Education: Early Childhood teaching, Psychopedagogy qualifications (Student or BA)
  • Experience: 1- or two-year Preschool teaching experience
  • Skills: IT skills, child-centered approach, good communication, professional, hard-working, and well-prepared
  • Language: Advanced English level
