Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Cummins Inc. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a factory or warehouse, ensuring accurate sorting, labeling, and storage to optimize warehouse space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming goods and check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices
  • Accurately sort, label, and store goods, arranging storage to optimize warehouse space
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders
  • Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment and promote interdependence among team members
  • Correct hazards within your control and capabilities and recognize the impact of your work on the environment
  • Engage in HSE Training and follow all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation, and established quality procedures
  • Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices and identify and control non-conforming material
  • Operate manual and automated equipment to pick, pack, and ship product per customer expectations
  • Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams and participate actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development
Requirements
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience
