Job Summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a highly skilled Technical Supplier Manager to join our team. As a Technical Supplier Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Contract Repair Manufacturers (CRM) adhere to our test standards and assist site personnel in understanding Cisco technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze repair data and work with site test engineers to improve repair yields and output.
  • Assist the site with new product introduction for Repair, including equipment identification, setup, installation, and qualification.
  • Manage scrap from the repair process in conjunction with the site and Service Planning.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure timely application.
  • Help identify, document, and approve Service Deviations.
  • Work with the site and Cisco internal teams to sunset products when they reach End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Sale (EOS) status.
  • Support site Test Engineers on Apollo coding standards, training, and maintenance of test scripts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of test engineering experience and vendor management experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for both technical and executive-level conversations.
  • Project management knowledge.
  • Strong programming knowledge (Python, Linux/Unix shell scripting).
  • Familiarity with version control and continuous integration software tools (GitHub and Jenkins).
  • Ability to debug, analyze, and root cause yield and test issues.
  • Ability to drive quality issues to resolution through cross-collaboration with different functional teams and business units.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA Routing and Switching Certification.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
