As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing a suite of surveillances aimed at detecting behaviors that may contravene regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with team members to review and analyze surveillance alerts and reports related to firm, employee, and client trading activity; documenting reviews and dispositions while escalating matters appropriately.
  • Gathering and analyzing trade data to support the Firm's response to inquiries from governmental and exchange regulatory bodies, as well as communicating surveillance findings to management and interacting with legal and compliance personnel.
  • Responding to internal partner inquiries (e.g., ICRM Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal).
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of new surveillances and refining existing ones.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptable. Strong project management and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

A Bachelor's degree is required; advanced education is preferred. Experience in a financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm is also necessary. Knowledge of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks, and typologies is crucial.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, Citi provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
