As a QA Engineer - Manual and Automated Testing Expert at Course, you will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, designing features independently, and contributing to software quality engineering discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own large-sized tasks or small projects and deliver QE artifacts.
- Manage deliverables.
- Reuse existing code appropriately and drive consistent behaviors across the team.
- Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used by the team.
- Determine testing best practices and principles, promoting them across the organization.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.
- Provide functional and technical expertise in bug fixes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in quality engineering, managing test plans and testing methodology for software projects.
- Utilize test automation techniques such as data-driven, pairwise, mocking, and test hooks to create well-factored integration and end-to-end tests.
- Understand designing and coding for testability to produce quality code at the lowest cost.
Required Skills:
- Manual testing techniques.
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining manual test plans.
- Creating and maintaining automated end-to-end tests using C, JavaScript, or TestScript.
- Experience with HTML and CSS. Experience testing web applications.
Additional Requirements:
Working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adapting to changing project requirements.
Expected Qualifications:
Strong understanding of software development life cycles, testing methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
