Job Overview

Copeland is seeking an experienced Strategic Financial Controller and Data Expert to join our team in Mexico City.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an exceptional individual to lead our finance operations, ensuring effective financial management, data analysis, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communication between our plant and shared services centers to optimize business processes and ensure timely information delivery.
  • Act as AMEX Administrator, ensuring adherence to payment policies and procedures with users, and coordinating the timely payment of Federal Taxes.
  • Coordinate SAT External Audits and KPMG Audit reports, reviewing the timely payment of all obligations to suppliers, fiscal, municipal, state, and federal taxes, insurance, and services.
  • Review NOETIX and Power BI reports to ensure accurate and timely records within various modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Orders, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cost, and i-Expenses.
  • Optimize procedures with our Shared Services Centers in Manila, Costa Rica, and Mexico City to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Supervise the proper delivery of information for local tax calculation, payment, and balance sheet integrations through our Mexico City Shared Services Center.
  • Analyze reports and monthly key information from external audits, annual tax returns, tax opinions, and transfer pricing.
  • Supervise the maintenance of digital files for the Finance area and ensure optimal management of customer collections and payments to suppliers according to credit days.
  • Ensure electronic accounting compliance with SAT requirements and monthly revisions to suppliers and legal representatives.
  • Supervise direct reports and maintain SharePoint for plant output control.

Requirements:

  • Accountant, administrator, or engineer degree.
  • English level B.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office.
  • Interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Benefits

Copeland offers a competitive benefits package, including a salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
