Cloud Solutions Architect Role

As a Cloud Solutions Architect at Oracle, you will work closely with sales teams to showcase the business value of our cloud solutions. Your main goal is to empower businesses on their journey to the cloud, building tailored transformations for our customers.

Key responsibilities include leading technical activities on customer accounts, from project concept to adoption. You will build a deep understanding of our customers' systems, priorities, and business needs to find unique solutions.

  • Become a trusted advisor on all things cloud computing.
  • Work within our High-Tech customer market.
  • Provide technical expertise on cloud infrastructure, platforms, and architecture.
  • Ensure Oracle technology drives customer outcomes and sustainable growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to define account strategies and win new workloads.
  • Coordinate solution creation, architecture design, and workshops.
  • Demonstrate the value of our cloud products, architectures, and new technologies we offer.
  • Analyze the Customer's Cloud Maturity and propose a roadmap to perform a transformation.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of relevant IT experience.
  • Experience in the role of Solution Architecture.
  • Hands-On experience with IAAS or PAAS in a cloud vendor (Oracle/Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Pre-sales or Sales Engineering experience is a must.
  • Strong communication, presentations, and whiteboarding skills.

Technical Knowledge

  • Architecting, implementing, and delivering complex service solutions for large-scale, mission-critical IT environments.
  • Design of cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Design of complex network topologies.
  • Coud-Native, Microservices, and Serverless Architecture.
  • Design of scalable and elastic resilient solutions for high availability and disaster recovery.
  • CI/CD automation using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
