Job SummaryThe Plant Controller is a key member of the Albéa S.A. team, responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and stability of our operations. Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
- Tax Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, variances, and trends.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the Finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
- Operational Control: Collaborate with management to ensure effective control of actual expenses versus budget, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reconciliation and General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations.
- Cash Flow Management: Direct and manage cash and bank movements, ensuring efficient cash flow and minimizing financial risks.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present reports to business and local management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of SAP, Excel, and other financial software; strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
