The Air Export Specialist Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the movement of products/equipment/materials out of the country via air freight. This includes ensuring compliance with organizational policy and procedure, as well as relevant local, country, and international laws and processes.
This role involves providing customer service to exporting customers, including booking, rates, document production, accounting, agent interaction, and problem resolution. The incumbent will also prepare and coordinate necessary documentation for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all air export activities.
- Coordinate cargo pick up/transfer, monitor status, and communicate with export related authorities, customers, and suppliers as necessary.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the shipment process.
- Provide regular updates to customers on shipment status, and respond promptly to any questions or concerns they may have.
