Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Bosch Group. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems and pipelines to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related projects and initiatives
• Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and apply them to improve our data systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering roles or 3+ years of experience in software development roles
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with containers like Docker
• General knowledge on manufacturing systems
