Job Summary

As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for leading the strategic business development of the property's food and beverage/culinary operation. This includes overseeing the implementation of departmental strategies and ensuring the brand service strategy and initiatives are executed effectively. Your goal will be to meet or exceed the brand's target customer needs, ensure employee satisfaction, and focus on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and property employees.
  • Lead the food and beverage leadership team to achieve financial goals, including revenue growth and profit maximization.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of effective marketing and sales strategies to drive business results.
  • Manage and maintain budgets, including food and beverage costs, labor costs, and other expenses.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of food and beverage staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area.
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 4 years of experience in the food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related professional area.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
